The Good Cop Bad Cop Chronicles #3

I don't know why, but the little LEGO Movie SWAT robots are really adorable to me.  So I gave my one SWAT robot minifigure a name and personality and put him into this comic.  Johnny is a crybaby robot that doesn't want to fight and likes to microwave metal objects.   Please don't microwave metal objects in real life, though...This comic is not endorsing the activity of fork microwaving.

Sooo, Johnny's name is a reference to two completely different characters.  He was originally named after Johnny from the Metal Gear Solid series- he's that friendly guard that gets indigestion far too often to be put in charge of watching a prisoner.  And Johnny is also a reference to the robot Johnny 5 from the Short Circuit films- hence Johnny's actual robot name is SWAT 05.

So...I guess I have a bit of a headcanon that...Bad Cop acts rough and tough around his robot squad, but he still cares about them.  He just doesn't want them acting strangely when President Business comes around, because they would get sent to the melting chamber straight away.  The robots do a lot of silly shenanigans, and Bad Cop's usually the one that cleans up any evidence of said shenanigans and berates the misbehaving robots.

And once again, I promised to sneak Emmet into this comic, but I failed to do that.  So, he gets to be in an impromptu dance party at the end!
I broke a lot of comic-making rules with speech bubble placement and the slantiness of the comic panels...forgive me.  I'll do better next time.
