Nny Button

Several months ago, I bought some buttons that were on sale for 15 cents each. I painted over the adorable puppies with white and started drawing other designs on the buttons...this is one of those poor buttons I vandalized....

It's Johnny C., aka Nny, from the JtHM comics, and his famous squee face!

So...yes- that's a hand-painted button...you can still see the pencil marks I failed to erase on there. I used a pic from the JtHM comic as a source and modified it slightly to fit on the button. I put a protective layer of glue over the finished painting, waited for it to dry, then put a coat of clear nail polish over it.

Of course, the button was so cheap that the safety pin went to pieces when I first opened it, but I think it's all right now....I think....*shifty eyes*
