Bentley Plume

Ahhh, I finally got up the courage to post an original character- this is a newer fellow I came up with after seeing a plume moth sitting on a window outside.  I...don't really have much of a story or setting for him yet...

Bentley is an over-apologetic gentleman (or gentlemoth in this case?).  He's...not very useful at a lot of things, but is always willing to help somehow.  However, he's also a big klutz, so most people turn down his offers of assistance and he ends up being led out the door while apologizing profusely.  Everybody expects him to be a cool, suave gentleman, but then they actually meet him and they just kinda sloooowly back away from the clumsy loser.

Bentley is also a student at a rather prestigious university, so he spends a lot of time studying in the library. His love of learning can make him a bit scatterbrained- he becomes so engrossed in a subject, he forgets to eat or sleep for long stretches of time.  He even forgot to check the weather once and nearly froze to death on the coldest day in the city.

He's painfully aware of how clumsy he can be, and every time someone refuses his help, he feels hurt, though he doesn't express it outwardly to those around him.

In summary, Bentley is a klutzy, somewhat intelligent (if a little scatterbrained), crybaby that can't do anything right except dress nicely, learn new things, and apologize in a million different ways for one mistake.  And somebody needs to give him a hug.

Bentley Plume belongs to me, please don't steal him...Bentley cries a lot when he's being kidnapped.

Hypothetical question:  If I made a plushie version of Bentley (which would probably resemble the little chibi doodle I drew up there) would there be anybody interested in purchasing one?
